PSP 2445 is a reverb processor plug-in (VST, AAX and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, AAX and RTAS for Mac OSX) inspired by two legendary early digital age reverberators: the EMT® 244 and the EMT® 245. PSP thoroughly researched how to bring the specific features of those simple, yet very musical sounding reverbs to life as a plug-in. We then improved from the originals with a handy set of parameters to control details of the sound and mix the reverb not available in the original hardware. The PSP 2445 is capable of processing using one selected engine or both of them simultaneously.
The PSP 2445 has become my new favorite reverb plugin. Not only does it sound smooth on the longer settings, but the short decay/long reflection setting gives an excellent vintage doubling effect that sounds so good on electric guitars that most other reverbs just can’t seem to get. PSP has done it again with an excellent simulation of a beloved effect.

It's not the "quality" of this verb (which it has) it's the totally unique and unusual sound that sets it apart. There are plenty of high quality reverbs out there, whose differences are only in nuance. The PSP 2445 is different from them all, this is "A Rare Reverb." (C) 2016

Once again PSP have created a plugin that I'm sure will become your "Go To" reverb effect. I've not played with the hardware version for many years, but after 5 minutes the sound was immediately familiar - it's sonic character sits comfortably between the best Spring Reverbs and the plates & chambers that are today's common production tools. I'm very keen on the very short "ambience" that you can easily create. They seem to add a live space to enhance voices and drums. With the superb PSP SpringBox and now the new PSP 2445 really are making some superb verbs.
