The Princeless is a hybrid of the Matchless SC30 and the 1955 Fender Tweed Princeton 5E2. It features the Matchless EF86 preamp side-by-side with the Princeton preamp, feeding into a true Class A power section configured for your choice of either 8 watts or 20 watts. Unlike Fender blackface amps, the channels are in phase to allow using them simultaneously or bridged. Some of the best tones of this amp happen when you combine with warm, aggressive sound of the Matchless channel with the bright, chimey sound of the Princeton channel. Also features a tube rectifier and simple Preamp Out/Power Amp Out effects loop.

We provide several customizable modifications, including power (8 watts or 20 watts), speaker (Jensen, Celestion, or Tone Bakery alnico or ceramic speakers), and transformers.
